Nanny Payroll

If you employ a nanny, you are an employer, with PAYE, a pension and HMRC reporting to run. This service takes all of that off you: we set you up as an employer and run the payroll each payday, so employing a nanny is simple and correct.
Fixed fee, agreed before we begin, with nothing charged until you approve it.
What We Handle
Registering you as an employer with HMRC, operating PAYE on your nanny's pay, calculating the income tax and National Insurance, producing payslips, and reporting to HMRC each time you pay. We set up and run the workplace pension and auto-enrolment too.
We also help you agree a gross wage rather than a net one, which keeps your cost fixed, and set up Tax-Free Childcare where the nanny is registered so you use it correctly.
Where Nanny Payroll Goes Wrong
The two common problems are agreeing pay net, which quietly makes you liable for extra tax and National Insurance, and treating a nanny as self-employed, which they are not. Both cost money and can bring an HMRC problem later.
We set it up right from the offer stage, gross wage, proper PAYE, the pension in place, so you are compliant and your cost is known, without you having to become a payroll expert.
How It Runs
You tell us the wage, the hours and when you pay, and we register you, set up the payroll and pension, and run it each period, sending you and the nanny the payslips and telling you what to pay. Everything is handled by email and secure sharing.
It runs quietly in the background, and when anything changes, a pay rise, a new tax code, a second job for the nanny, we handle it so your figures stay right.
What It Costs
A fixed periodic fee agreed before we start, based on how often you pay. It is a small, known cost for taking the whole employer duty off your hands, and there are no charges for the odd query.
To set it up, tell us your nanny's wage and hours and we will come back with a fixed quote.
